Fast disintegration & excellent production properties
There are two key factors apart from the formulation of a tab:
The disintegration time and the stability of the final
product. Without a fast disintegration, the formulation will
not be able to work on the target material within the desired time frame
On the other hand, the tab must be stable enough to pass all further
production, packaging and transport steps without being damaged or broken.
DynaTec combines the good compression and swelling properties of cellulose and starch.
According to the task and the formulation of the final product, the rate of
DynaTec has to be ajusted. In general, we consider a rate of approx.
5% of DynaTec in a tab as a good indication to achieve a fast
disintegration of the tab.
Depending on the production process and the formulation a smaller or bigger
particle size of the disintegrant is necessary. We therefore offer 2 standard sizes,
only differing in particle size. Both products keep a very low rate of small
particles reducing dust during the production and enhance the flowabilty of
the formulation.
In addition to our standard products we steadily work on the development of
improved forms of DynaTec, using other components and production techniques
to suit our customers needs.
