Virtual Equipment Simulator

AMIFICAS Inc promotes and supports the CINCAP product VES (Virtual Equipment Simulator) as a tailor made tool for personalized training of staff in a Pharmaceutical R&D and/or Manufacturing Environments. It has to be kept in mind, that a formulation is not only a composition of the drug substance and the excipients involved, but that the manufacturing process is an integral part of the product formulation. Thus specific solutions are offered, which take into account the site specific formulations manufactured with site specific equipment.

The advantages are the following:

• The staff is trained similar to a pilot, who is trained in a “Flight Simulator”.
• Thus no active substances, excipients, equipment etc are needed.
• It is possible to simulate and manufacture in-silico site specific formulations.
• Process requirements and limits can be evaluated in-silico by VES.
• The type and size of equipment, past experiences with site specific formulations etc are provided by the customer. This leads to a company-specific VES.
• In case of delicate formulations the number of batches being rejected in the past can be minimized by application of VES-powered training solutions.
